13 December 2018 Property & Estate Agency Gillian Ralph
Buy-to-let landlords or those who are considering buying a holiday home should act now before the Additional Dwelling Supplement (ADS) increases. The Scottish Budget delivered a blow for landlords and holiday home buyers, introducing a 1% increase on the tax payable when buying a second property. If approved by the Scottish Parliament, the ADS will increase from 3%-4% on 25th January 2019.  Landlords would have to be very quick off the mark to complete before the surcharge on Land and Building Transactions Tax increases next month.
05 December 2018 News & Announcements Macnabs Law
On the 21st of November a team from Macnabs took part in the CATH Sleep Out 2018, swapping their beds for a sleeping bag to experience a “good night’s sleep” on the cold, hard pavement to help fundraise for local charity, CATH. We are delighted to have raised a total of £1620 for CATH from this event! CATH (Churches Action for the Homeless) is a charity which supports, encourages and promotes the development and delivery of projects to relieve homelessness and poor housing, improve the conditions of life and generally aid the development of persons who are homeless in the Perth and Kinross area. Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to everyone who has donated so generously.

07 November 2018 News & Announcements Macnabs Law
On the 21st of November Stuart Hunter, Jane McNicol, Alan Roughead, Rebecca Ellwood, Lauren Alexander-Smith, Blair MacDonald and Arlene Breen are swapping their beds for a sleeping bag to experience a “good night’s sleep” on the cold, hard pavement to help fundraise for local charity, CATH. We are not attempting to match the sense of danger, hopelessness and hunger, which afflicts many homeless people, but we hope to raise general awareness of homelessness and help fund raise for local charity, CATH. CATH (Churches Action for the Homeless) is a charity which supports, encourages and promotes the development and delivery of projects to relieve homelessness and poor housing, improve the conditions of life and generally aid the development of persons who are homeless in the Perth and Kinross area. Please help us to raise money for the homeless and donate via JustGiving.
