Macnabs are delighted to once again be taking part in this year’s annual Will Aid fundraising event throughout November. It is simple – you make an appointment, we make your Will and instead of paying a fee you make a donation to the Will Aid charity.
Macnabs has taken part in the annual Will Aid scheme for over 10 years, raising over £60,000 for the Will Aid charities which include ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, Sightsavers, SCIAF (Scotland) and Trocaire (N. Ireland).
Without a Will you have no control over what will happen to your money, possessions and property after you die, often leading to stressful, and also costly, family disputes. Life is precious - do what you can to protect those you love.
With lockdown having eased, many people are looking at the new normal and planning for their future, so now is as good a time as ever to review your personal and financial affairs.
Have you considered setting up a Trust to manage your assets efficiently?
It’s an uncomfortable topic. Discussing death and what will happen if you die. Sitting down with a new partner, in your brand new flat, discussing making a Will can feel morbid and futile. You’re both young. You’re healthy. You have good jobs, financial stability. But if you don’t have the difficult conversations when it does feel pointless, then it will inevitably be too late to have them at all.
Over the years, humans and canines have grown a very special relationship, and for many dog owners it goes without saying that a dog is a man’s best friend.
Given that it's estimated that 12 million households in the UK have a pet, it is not surprising that as a nation of pet lovers many people have concerns on what will happen to their pet when they die.
