Gillian is a commercial property lawyer at Macnabs and heads up the firm’s Property Department, which deals with both Commercial and Residential Property.
Gillian trained in Perth before moving to Edinburgh to work for a number of top-ranking law firms, returning to Perth to take up the position of Head of Property in 2017. Gillian has experience across the whole spectrum of Commercial Property, having acted for various developers including in a number of high-profile mixed-use developments in Edinburgh and Glasgow and also for residential developers in the acquisition of sites for residential development across the central belt.
Gillian also has considerable experience in investment work having acted for a number of institutional and smaller investors in the acquisition and disposal of commercial property throughout Scotland, including retail parks and retail and office premises.
In addition to investment and development work, Gillian has regularly acted for various funders lending across the range of commercial property.
Finally, Gillian has experience of acting for tenants, including a number of high street names, in the acquisition of new leasehold premises, and also in providing advice on ongoing lease management issues.
Her excellent technical advice and pro-active commercial approach combine to offer clients sound advice tailored to their business needs.
