We are looking for a Solicitor to join our ambitious and growing Private Client team at Macnabs. The position offered is on a full-time basis, although a part-time position would be considered.  We can offer you a varied caseload, with the opportunity for client contact. You will work on a range of Private Client matters, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Executry, Trust and Guardianship Management.

When Love Island host Caroline Flack tragically took her own life at the start of this year she had not made a Will and it has been revealed recently that the fortune she amassed will go to causes the star was passionate about.

We are delighted to be taking part in the Will Aid charity scheme again this year and are now taking bookings for appointments in November. Macnabs has taken part in Will Aid for 9 years. The Will Aid scheme is held annually in November and lawyers generously give up their time for free to write Wills for local people, in exchange for a donation to the charity. Macnabs has raised an impressive total of £54,361 to date making us one of he highest donating firms in Scotland.

When a loved one loses the ability to make their own decisions, and is unable to sign a Power of Attorney, the answer may be to apply to the Court for a Guardianship Order. A Guardianship Order allows someone to make ongoing decisions on behalf of an adult with incapacity, such as paying bills, dealing with bank accounts, and making decisions about care and personal welfare matters.
