Macnabs has announced the promotion of two members of staff as it opens a new office in Blairgowrie this month.

Alan Roughead, who joined the firm from MacRoberts in October 2017, has been promoted to Director and will head up the Private Client department. Alan, a notary public and a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, advises clients on a variety of issues including the preparation of Wills, Estate planning, asset protection and Executry administration. He is also involved in Macnabs partnership with Cancer Research UK – a charity close to the hearts of many of the team at Macnabs and also their clients (Macnabs clients have left almost £700,000 to Cancer Research in their Wills).

Sharon Connolly, a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Paralegal, advises a variety of clients, both individual and commercial, with conveyancing and debt recovery matters, and has recently been promoted to Director of Compliance.
