As parents, we all want to protect and care for our children, and when they are younger it is generally acknowledged that parents have a right, and a responsibility, to do so. The law gives children more rights and responsibilities as they grow up, and when a child turns 16 they are effectively considered an adult and in many situations are deemed to be able to make decisions independently.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Secretary to strengthen our busy court team which can be based in any of our offices. This is a full-time role working, 8.45am until 5pm Monday to Friday.

Macnabs are delighted to announce that after a rigorous training process and series of exams, Partner Garry Sutherland has recently been appointed as a Solicitor Advocate. Garry, who has focused on court and tribunal work for over 20 years, is now one of a select number of lawyers who are able to represent clients in the higher courts in Scotland and the UK, including the Court of Session, the Supreme Court and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. Garry is the only Perth based solicitor to hold the qualification.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our busy Court team. If you have 5+ years’ experience of assisting in the preparation and lodging of documentation in Court of Session Matters, and / or Sheriff Court experience, then please get in touch.
